Informazioni aggiuntive
What is Selvaggio Blu (The Wild Blue): it allows you to experience the nature of the most ancient Sardinia, immersing yourself in the history of the shepherds‘ and charcoal burners’ places in Supramonte. It is a fairly demanding trek because it combines daily walks over distances of 8-10 km with some more technical passages, abseiling and, depending on the programme chosen, nights in the open.
The technical passages will be accessible to all thanks to the constant support of the mountain guide. The logistics and all meals (from breakfasts to dinners with delicious local food) are organised in collaboration with a local cooperative, so the food and wine component will also be very satisfying.
Schedule
Day 0 – Arrival during the day in the Baunei–Santa Maria Navarrese area and overnight stay in the area.
Day 1 – Transfer to Pedra Longa, the starting point of the Selvaggio Blu. From there, we’ll hike to the Us Piggius sheepfold, near Monte Ginnirco.
Day 2 – From the sheepfold, we’ll continue across a plateau and then descend toward the sea, with our destination being Portu Pedrosu, where we’ll have dinner and sleep outdoors.
Day 3 – From Portu Pedrosu, we’ll follow the coastline through wild Mediterranean scrub. A few ups and downs will lead us to the spectacular Punta Salinas, and from there we’ll descend to the iconic spire of Cala Goloritzè. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – From Cala Goloritzè, we’ll continue on to Ololbissi. This stage includes some technical sections, including a beautiful descent into the Grotta del Fico. Dinner and overnight stay outdoors.
Day 5 – From Ololbissi to Cala Sisine with another very technical stage. We’ll alternate comfortable trails with some climbing sections (secured with ropes), via ferrata-style equipped ledges, and abseils. After a long final day, we’ll reach Cala Sisine for a well-deserved swim! Return by rubber dinghy to Santa Maria Navarrese.
Day 6 – A final breakfast together before saying goodbye and heading off on your journey home.
