Informazioni aggiuntive
In this valley on the slopes of Mont Blanc soar limestone towers that draw an elegant ridge line with an amazing panorama.
Starting in the morning from the Veny valley, it is possible to climb this route in the day, passing through Combal Lake and stopping at the Elisabetta refuge.
The itinerary is suitable for those approaching mountaineering and those who want to enjoy the magnificent view of this corner of the Aosta Valley. Difficulties do not exceed grade III in some climbing passages and the descent is along the normal route where, depending on the season and snow cover, crampons may also come in handy.
Although this is an entry-level itinerary for an alpine ridge, a total elevation gain of about 1000 meters will be covered. It is also possible to arrange with the Guide a two-day ascent, with an overnight stay at the Elisabetta Hut at an altitude of 2195 meters.
