The multi-pitch climbing course consists of 2 day on the rock, where we will cover the topics of rope management on multi-pitch routes. We will talk about: materials and gear, safety, knots and fundamental maneuvers for building belays, rappelling and belaying your climbing partner.
The experience is aimed at all those who already have basic knowledge of climbing technique (grade 5c for lead climbers) and of safety (making knot and basic maneuvers commonly used at the crag).

ATTENTION: If you already know the fundamentals of multi-pitch routes but you are interested in learning more about the following aspects: use of friends and nuts, trad belays, how to use pitons, managing half ropes better, learning maneuvers and tricks at a more detailed level, sign up to the our ADVANCED multipitch climbing COURSE.
Schedule
Day 1: we will go to a crag also suitable for multi-pitch progression. Here we will see the equipment necessary to do a multi-pitch route, basic knots, making belays, belaying your partner from above, setting up a rappel.
Day 2: practical outing where the participants, after a review of the knowledge acquired on day 1, will challenge themselves to manage a multi-pitch route.
On Day 1 we will see what materials and equipment are needed, however we recommend to buythe bare essentials before taking part in the course. See the list of materials below.
Fee
350 euros per person
The course is considered confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The fee includes: course organization, accompaniment and teaching by the Mountain Guide, teaching material and all the equipment necessary for the course, third party insurance and accident insurance.
Notes
The fee does not include: travel costs, food and accommodation, cable cars (also for the Guide) extras and everything that is not included in the "fee" item. The expenses of the Guide will be divided among the participants.The proposals reported are indicative of a general program. They may undergo variations at the sole discretion of the Alpine Guide depending on weather and snow conditions or other variables.
