Course dedicated to those who are already passionate about trekking or sport climbing and want to learn how to manage easy mountaineering climbs with little protection (without pitons or bolts). If you also want to explore a mountaineering route, leaving the most popular hiking trails or the popular climbing cliffs, this course is dedicated to you. Whether it is a ridge in the mountains, a normal route on the Tre Cime di Lavaredo or a route that is only partially equipped, it is essential to know how to proceed as a roped party in the most correct way possible, greatly increasing the level of safety.
The activities will take place only on rocky terrain, to learn how to use an ice ax and crampons in winter mountaineering or to climb the 4000 meter glaciers of the Alps visit our dedicated sections or write to us on our contacts.
The course proposed here includes an outing of 3 consecutive days for a full immersion in:
information on equipment and basic maneuvers
types of progression in "simul-climbing" on easy terrain
rope management (various methods)
rappelling
anchors on mountaineering terrain
strategies and preparation of mountaineering ascents
Schedule
Day 1: travel and meeting at a rock crag suitable for the purpose. Lesson on materials, stops, maneuvers and rappels.
Day 2: management of the "short rope" team and practical exercise on the topic. Review and clarification of the topics seen in the first 2 days.
Day 3: independent management of an easy mountaineering climb under the supervision of the Guide. Return home in the evening.
Fee
450 euro per person.
The course is activated with a minimum of 2 participants.
The fee includes: course organization, accompaniment and teaching by the Alpine Guide, teaching material and all the equipment necessary for the course.
Notes
The fee does not include: travel costs, food and accommodation, cable cars (also for the Guide) extras and everything that is not included in the "fee" item. The expenses of the Guide will be divided among the participants.
The proposals reported are indicative of a general program. They may undergo variations at the sole discretion of the Mountain Guide depending on weather and snow conditions or other variables.

1 kevlar for prusik (60 cm length loop)

20-30 liter backpack
Approach shoes with Vibram sole
Food/snacks, water for almost 8 hours of activity in the mountains
Appropriate clothes for a climbing day in the mountains at 2000 meters of altitude
