A journey through the wild peaks of the Alps. This iconic ascent offers a challenging route across craggy rocks and sharp ridges, requiring mountaineering skills and physical preparation. With spectacular views this adventure is a must for lovers of mountaineering and wilderness.

Schedule

  • 1st day – Transfer to Pian del Re and ascent to the Quintino Sella refuge, accommodation, dinner and overnight stay

  • 2nd day – ascent of the East ridge and descent from the normal route

Fee

  • 1 person: 1000 €

  • 2 people:600 €/each

The price includes: organisation, accompaniment and teaching by a Mountain Guide, RC insurance and common material.

For groups larger than 2 people, the presence of an additional Mountain Guide will be necessary. Write us an email or click on the Whatsapp button to arrange an ad hoc climb.

Notes

The price does not include travel, food and accommodation, cable cars (even for the Mountain Guide) extras and everything that is not included in the "fee" item

Equipment

Gear:

  • Classic 12-point steel crampons

  • ice axe

  • helmet

  • harness

  • mountaineering boots

  • 1 kevlar sling or dyneema sling 120 cm of length

  • 2 HMS screw carabiners

  • belay device (like Reverso, ATC or similar)

In the absence of this material there is the possibility of rental. However, we suggest you to buy at least mountaineering boots (possibly compatible with your crampons).

Recommended clothing and material:

  • minimum category 3 sunglasses

  • buff hat and neck warmer

  • 2 pairs of gloves, one light and one heavy for use on snow

  • Gore-tex jacket (or similar)

  • down jacket

  • breathable fleece and t-shirt

  • softshell trousers for mountaineering

  • socks

  • trekking pole (useful but not essential)

  • sunscreen (minimum protection 30)

  • thermos (1L) or water (if the day is hot)

  • snacks, bars, dried fruit (practical and energetic food)

  • C.A.I. card (if registered)

  • identity document
