Aiguille d'Entrèves traverse (3604 m) - Mont Blanc

Aiguille d'Entrèves traverse, a spectacular and sharp ridge in the Mont Blanc massif. An exciting climb on the border between France and Italy

Informazioni aggiuntive

The Aiguille d'Entrèves traverse is a spectacular mountaineering route in the Mont Blanc massif, an itinerary that allows you to overlook the dizzying slope overlooking Courmayeur and the Aosta Valley.

It is a high mountain ridge to be covered on mixed terrain (rock and snow) and which allows you to reach the summit of Aiuguille d'Entrèves at 3604 m of altitude. The climb takes place by reaching Punta Helbronner at 3466 m via the spectacular "Skyway" cable car and with a route first on a glacier and then on rock (up to grade IV of difficulty) you will be able to climb sharp rocky spiers that make up the ridge.

The ridge mainly involves rock climbing, to be climbed with mountaineering boots and, sometimes, with crampons on your feet. The climb is dedicated to all those who already have basic knowledge of mountaineering and who have a minimum of climbing experience (grade IV). With this route you will be able to improve your progression technique on mixed terrain, increase your knowledge of high mountain environments and you can do it while having fun!

WARNING: If you are interested in climbing a further ridge, or want to first try a slightly easier route in preparation for this climb, check out the Aiguilles Marbrées between our activities! In this way you can spend two days in the mountains and have time to acclimatise to the altitude.
